A gentle start to a beautiful journey.
The first months with a puppy are precious—and full of firsts. This course helps you make those early steps thoughtful, calm, and connected.
We’ll guide you through the basics: how to help your puppy greet politely, walk on a loose leash, rest calmly, and come when called. But more importantly, we’ll help you understand why your puppy behaves the way they do—and how to respond with kindness and clarity.
Our methods are gentle, joyful, and respectful, rooted in the science of how dogs (and people) learn best. With small group sizes and a supportive environment, you and your puppy will have the space to grow—not just in skills, but in trust and togetherness.

Each session builds important life skills for both you and your puppy, creating a strong foundation for your life together.

Building Connection & Calm
Use a reward marker to help your puppy focus on you, encourage calm behavior on a mat, and begin developing a beautiful communication rhythm. -
Leash Walking & First Obedience Cues
Introduce your puppy to polite leash walking and practice essential cues like sit, down, heel position, and waiting calmly. -
Growing Confidence & Skills
Deepen your puppy’s leash and obedience skills while building their self-assurance in new situations. -
Gentle Handling: The Consent Game
Teach your puppy to participate willingly in grooming and care—like nail trims, brushing, ear and tooth cleaning, or vet visits—through trust-based handling. -
Recall & Focus Around Distractions
Practice coming when called, even around distractions, and teach your puppy how to stay calm and attentive in exciting environments. -
Celebrating Progress
A joyful wrap-up session where we review all topics, answer questions, and celebrate your puppy’s growth. You’ll walk away with tools and confidence for the journey ahead.

All sessions are held indoors at our training center and in our safe, enclosed courtyard.
We keep the class size intentionally small (maximum 6 puppies) to ensure a calm, personalized experience for every dog and their human.
